We made it.

You can all find succor from life’s ceaseless obligations on every weekend from now until January 25th. The college football season has finally arrived, with the NFL just 15 days away.

So get the grill or smoker cleaned up, check your local grocery store to see if they have any pork butts or briskets on sale, dust off the cooler, and make sure your backup TV situation is sorted out. Because now, we go to work.

Florida State “@” Georgia Tech

If you listened to our podcast, you already know that this game is happening in Ireland. It kicks off at noon on Saturday and we’ve got a few picks here, including our first conflicting pick of the season! What a lovely omen!

Andy and Danny are laying the points with FSU, Andy at -11 and Danny at -10.5.

I, on the other hand, am taking Georgia Tech +11.5. So I guess the gist is follow your heart.

I’m also taking the 1H u28. I love this pick. We’re getting 4 full TDs in these two run heavy/below average passing teams’ first game of the season, on a different continent. This feels like it can’t miss to me.

Montana State @ New Mexico

This one’s at 4pm Saturday. No plays for you, but Montana State are double digit road favorites. Incredible.

SMU @ Nevada

Primetime! This 8pm kickoff includes one of Andy’s favorite teams to bet: the Nevada Wolfpack. Andy’s taking Nevada +27 as well as the over 56.5 as he feels he’s unlikely to miss on both of these. Matt is also following Andy’s lead here and taking Nevada +27.

Delaware State @ Hawaii

And a nightcap for the truly degenerate, this one kicks off at midnight. No plays here.
