NCAAF Week 5 Picks

4 Consensus plays coming off a 29-17 week...

Last week, I mentioned that some of us around here were off to a much better start than others and that maybe it was time to pay attention to who was on a play. If you heeded that advice and tailed our hottest hands, you’d have gone 15-8. So, however you managed to pick your plays, I hope you came out ahead.

As a group, the boys went 29-17 on plays in Week 4, much better than we fared last week, and moving our season record to 108-88, winning 55.10% of our plays and good for +10.28 units.

This week, Danny went a red-hot 11-3 on his picks to pace the group. Andy finally got on the right side of .500 by going 8-3 himself.

Last week’s consensus plays went 6-5, moving to 11-8 on the season. It may be a lot of plays, but it’s looking like maybe placing all of the bets is the most profitable strategy. Or tailing everyone except me.

This week, there are four consensus plays. Al and Andy are on Virginia Tech +19, +19.5 at Miami, Andy and Matt are taking Maryland +7 at Indiana, as well as Mississippi St +39 at Texas, and Al and Matt are taking Oklahoma -1.5 at Auburn.
