Happy Thanksgiving everybody! Thanks for reading our descent into madness as our red-hot start has fallen away. But there’s no better time than now to get hot in the NFL. Let me start off by saying Andy, Matt and I recorded a beautiful Thanksgiving podcast where we discussed NFL, but we also went over college football and Thanksgiving day drinking over/unders. I highly recommend blessing your ears with that on the podcast platform of your choice.
Now, onto the picks.
We’ve got a whopping 7 consensus picks for you this week! Andy and I were on the same wavelength last week and it was a bad one. We went 1-4 on consensus plays but this is the week we right the ship.
Consensus Picks
I’m just going to pull these out separately this week and lay out the rest of the picks by individual. Hope that’s okay with you!
CHI at DET
Andy and I are on the u48.5 while Matt and I are on DET -9.5, -10. This feels like a let down spot for the Lions who are overdue for a loss, and they’re banged up pretty good, but the numbers are the numbers and they say that the Bears aren’t going to score very much. The Lions will be looking for their 10th win in a row and their first Thanksgiving day win in 8 years!
NYG at DAL
All three of us are taking the o37.5. It’s time for Tommy Cutlets to mangia. Cooper Rush has looked average for two weeks now! These teams can play an interesting game! I know it in my bones!
MIA at GB
All three of us are again on a total here, going in on the u47, 47.5. Tua in the cold? Me no likey. Sorry Fins fans.
LAC at ATL
Matt and I are teaming up on this u48.5. The Chargers have the best defense in the league and Jim Harbaugh is content to turn Herbert into a running QB. 3 yards and a cloud of dust means we laugh all the way to the bank.
IND at NE
Matt and I are again on the same page, laying it with IND -2.5. They’re a much better team offensively.
TB at CAR
Andy and I are teaming up this time with TB -6. The Panthers are playing better, but the Bucs have their sights set on bigger things this year than floating around .500.
